While we’re seeing more homes come on the market compared to early spring, inventory remains tight. Well-prepared homes are getting attention quickly. Others may take longer to sell, especially as more options appear later in the season.
Buyers are motivated. Even with higher interest rates and steady prices, serious buyers are active. Many are shopping because they have to move. Job changes, growing families, and life transitions are driving demand. This means fewer casual showings. You won’t need dozens of buyers walking through before someone makes a strong offer. Motivated buyers are ready and willing to act, but they are also paying attention to value.
Price and condition matter most. Buyers are not making offers on overpriced or poorly maintained homes. They expect homes to be clean, updated, and ready for move-in. Sellers who take time to handle repairs and set the right price are seeing strong results.
